When you choose our made-to-measure blinds, we want you to feel completely confident in your beautiful new addition. Because we truly believe in the exceptional quality of our products, we are delighted to offer you a comprehensive 5-year extended guarantee, completely free of charge. This goes well beyond the standard one-year manufacturer's warranty, giving you four extra years of complete peace of mind.
✨ What is Covered (And When)
We've kept our coverage breakdown as beautifully simple as possible:
- Years 1 to 5 (Components & Cords): If a little part, mechanism, or cord fails, we will supply the replacement parts completely free of charge for the full five years.
- Year 1 Only (Labour & Delivery): For the first 12 months, if your blind needs to come back to our workshop for a repair, we will also cover all the labour, collection, and delivery costs.
🛑 A Few Sensible Exceptions
We like to keep things clear, honest, and transparent. Our guarantee is designed to cover genuine manufacturing faults, which means we sadly cannot cover:
- Accidental damage, mishaps, or improper use.
- Blinds that have been altered or modified from their original design.
- Damage caused by not following our simple measuring, installation, cleaning, or maintenance guides.
- Blinds fitted in commercial or non-residential spaces.
- Exposure to harsh elements, or everyday wear and tear that naturally happens over the years.
🌿 Natural Material Characteristics
Because some of our blinds are made from natural or specialised materials, a few specific natural changes aren't covered by the guarantee:
- Faux Wood Blinds: Warping if they are exposed to extreme temperatures (above 55°C—like right above a roaring fire or very hot radiator!).
- Real Wood Blinds: Natural changes like slight warping from high humidity (such as in a steamy bathroom), as well as the beautiful, natural variations you get in wood grain, texture, and colour.
- Fabrics & Dyes: The natural, gradual fading that happens over the years when fabrics sit in the bright sunshine.
⚖️ The Legal Bit
This is the only guarantee we provide, and it replaces all other implied warranties. While Ideal Textiles cannot be held responsible for any indirect damages or losses, please rest assured that this guarantee does not affect your standard statutory consumer rights in any way.
