Updating the cushions on your sofa or bed is the simplest way of freshening up the look of your room, and buying the cushion covers alone is the easiest way to do this without breaking the bank! There will always be the latest trends and designs going about but there are a few that never go out of style. Here at Ideal Textiles we have a wide range of cushions available as the covers only, as well as ready filled cushions, and the cushion inners to go with them. 

 

Cushion Inserts

Our cushion pads are available in a range of sizes to suit your needs. They are made exclusively for Ideal Textiles and are extra filled with 100% polyester filling to give you the softest and fullest cushion. 

• Which Size of Cushion Pad Do I Need? We would recommend going for a cushion pad slightly bigger than your cushion cover to make it nice and plump. 
  For example, you are buying a cushion cover sized 18” x 18” then we recommend going for a 20” x 20”. This may seem too big but once it is in the cushion cover it will sit much better on your sofa. Many of our cushion covers are made to 17” x 17” so that you can use your existing cushion pads or order an 18” pad and have it fit perfectly. 
• Can I Wash My Cushion Pad? Hollowfibre pads can be washed in the machine on a gentle, low temperature cycle. Just make sure they are thoroughly dried and plump them up before putting your cushion cover back on.
• Which Filling Should I Choose? Some of our pre-filled cushions come with the option of feather filled or polyester filled. 

  Polyester pads are hypoallergenic so are ideal for those with allergies. They are also plump and can be firmer than other cushion options, helping to keep your cushion looking full. To keep these nice and fluffy we recommend that customers plump the inners, pulling the hollowfibre material on the inside apart. This will keep them in the best shape.
  Feather filled cushions. These high quality pads look and feel great for a long time. They are soft enough to form to the sitter, but with a quick plump they easily take back their original full look, making sure they look great when on display. If you have any allergies we would not recommend this insert option

 

Cushion Covers

Keep in style, reduce your waste and keep your costs to a minimum. Re-use your current cushion pads and only replace your cushion covers to keep up with the current trends.

The majority of our cushion covers are fitted with a zip for easy opening meaning your cushion covers can be easily cleaned in the washing machine to keep them fresh, but always check the care label on the item. 

Filled Cushions

Filled cushions are an excellent way to dress a sofa or bed and can really add the finishing touch to a room. They can also add extra interest or texture to a room as the prefilling allows us to explore new shapes which standard cushion pads cannot conform to.

Caring for your ready made filled cushions depends on the type you buy: most of the cushions to match our duvet covers are 100% machine washable but luxury cushions such as our Evans Litchfield Cushions are often made with 100% wool covers and feather inners meaning they are slightly more difficult to care for. Always check the care label before washing.
