Scandi Inspired Throws & Blankets

Embrace the Nordic concept of hygge with our Scandi inspired throws and blankets collection. Clean geometric patterns, natural colour palettes, quality fabrics, and the kind of understated warmth that Scandinavian design does so effortlessly well.
Scandi throws suit rooms that embrace a clean, minimal aesthetic with natural materials and a carefully edited colour palette. They are characterised by simple geometric or folk-inspired patterns in natural tones — cream, grey, soft white, warm oatmeal — sometimes with a single accent colour like dusty blue, sage green, or warm mustard. Knitted Scandi throws have a particularly satisfying quality that feels authentically Nordic, while woven versions offer a lighter, slightly more contemporary take on the same aesthetic. They pair naturally with wooden furniture, sheepskin rugs, candles, and simple houseplants for the full hygge-inspired room arrangement.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of throws are included in the Scandi inspired range?

Our Scandi inspired throws collection includes a variety of styles, sizes, and fabric types — browse the full range for current availability.

What sizes are available?

Our throws come in a range of standard sizes — check individual product listings for the specific dimensions available in each design.

Are these throws machine washable?

Many of our throws are machine washable, though always check the specific care label on each product before washing.

What fabrics are used for throws and blankets?

Our range includes fleece, faux fur, cotton, knitted, woven, and sherpa fabrics depending on the individual design.

Can I use a throw on a bed as well as a sofa?

Yes, throws are versatile and work beautifully draped over a bed, sofa, armchair, or used as an extra layer on colder nights.

How do I style a throw on a sofa?

Drape it casually over one arm of the sofa for a relaxed feel, fold it neatly over the back, or bunch it at one end for a more lived-in look.

Do throws help with warmth and insulation?

Yes, a good quality throw adds a meaningful extra layer of warmth, particularly on evenings when the central heating is off.

How do I care for my throw to keep it looking its best?

Follow the care label instructions carefully. Most throws benefit from a cool machine wash and should be reshaped while damp and air dried flat to maintain their appearance.
