Kids Throws & Blankets

Our kids throws and blankets collection brings together fun, colourful, and character designs that children will actually want to wrap up in. From superhero and animal prints through to bold patterns and playful novelty designs, these are throws built for young people who have their own strong opinions about what they like.
Kids throws need to balance fun and practicality in equal measure. Opt for machine washable fabrics wherever possible — fleece and polycotton blends are particularly practical for children as they are easy to clean and dry quickly. Most kids will have strong preferences about designs, so involving them in the choice tends to produce much better outcomes than choosing something you think looks nice. For younger children, look for softer, fleecier fabrics that feel gentle against the skin. For older children and teenagers, the full adult range of throws is available and many prefer designs that are not obviously aimed at children.

Frequently Asked Questions

What types of throws are included in the kids range?

Our kids throws collection includes a variety of styles, sizes, and fabric types — browse the full range for current availability.

What sizes are available?

Our throws come in a range of standard sizes — check individual product listings for the specific dimensions available in each design.

Are these throws machine washable?

Many of our throws are machine washable, though always check the specific care label on each product before washing.

What fabrics are used for throws and blankets?

Our range includes fleece, faux fur, cotton, knitted, woven, and sherpa fabrics depending on the individual design.

Can I use a throw on a bed as well as a sofa?

Yes, throws are versatile and work beautifully draped over a bed, sofa, armchair, or used as an extra layer on colder nights.

How do I style a throw on a sofa?

Drape it casually over one arm of the sofa for a relaxed feel, fold it neatly over the back, or bunch it at one end for a more lived-in look.

Do throws help with warmth and insulation?

Yes, a good quality throw adds a meaningful extra layer of warmth, particularly on evenings when the central heating is off.

How do I care for my throw to keep it looking its best?

Follow the care label instructions carefully. Most throws benefit from a cool machine wash and should be reshaped while damp and air dried flat to maintain their appearance.
