Easy Care Bedding

Our easy care bedding collection is the practical choice for busy homes. These sets are crafted from fabrics that resist creasing, dry quickly and hold their colour beautifully, giving you a great-looking bedroom with very little effort.
When choosing easy care bedding, look for polycotton blends with a smooth finish as these are the most resistant to creasing. Check the washing instructions — most easy care sets can be washed at 40 degrees and tumble dried on a low heat, which significantly reduces drying time. Consider the weave and weight of the fabric: a tighter weave generally gives a crisper result, while a slightly heavier weight provides more warmth and substance. Easy care bedding is particularly good for guest rooms and children's bedrooms where frequent washing is the norm.

Frequently Asked Questions

What makes bedding 'easy care'?

Easy care bedding is made from fabrics, usually polycotton blends, that resist creasing, dry quickly and require little or no ironing compared to pure cotton sets.

Does easy care bedding feel as soft as cotton?

Modern easy care blends are very comfortable to sleep in. They may feel slightly crisper than pure cotton at first but remain pleasant and breathable for everyday use.

How do I wash easy care bedding?

Most sets can be machine washed at 40 degrees. Tumble drying on a low heat is usually fine and gives the best crease-free result. Always check the care label for individual guidance.

Does easy care bedding last as long as cotton?

Polycotton blends are generally very durable and maintain their shape and colour well over time, often outlasting pure cotton in terms of keeping a fresh appearance.

What sizes are available?

Easy care sets are available in all standard UK sizes from single to super king, making it simple to find the right fit for every bed.

Is easy care bedding suitable for children?

It is an excellent choice for children's rooms because it handles frequent washing very well, dries quickly and tends to resist staining more effectively than pure cotton.

Can I tumble dry easy care bedding?

Yes, most easy care sets are suitable for tumble drying on a low heat setting. Removing them promptly from the dryer helps minimise any remaining creases.

Does easy care bedding look as good as cotton?

Easy care bedding has a smooth, neat finish that looks very presentable on the bed and holds its appearance well between washes, making it a practical and attractive choice.

Beautiful Bedding That Looks After Itself

Life is busy enough without spending hours ironing bedding. Our easy care collection is designed for people who want their bedroom to look great without the faff. These sets are crafted from practical fabrics that wash quickly, dry well and come out of the machine looking far more presentable than standard cotton. Whether you have a busy household, a demanding schedule or simply prefer to spend your time doing something other than ironing, easy care bedding is a genuinely clever choice.

The practical benefits are real, but so is the style. Easy care fabrics hold their colour well and maintain a smooth, fresh appearance wash after wash. They are especially popular for children's rooms and spare bedrooms where bedding goes through a lot of washes. For a complete bedroom look, our pillowcase range offers plenty of complementary options, and our fitted sheets are made to the same practical standard. If you need extra warmth without extra work, our hollowfibre duvets are also machine washable and quick to dry.

The Practical Advantages of Easy Care Fabrics

  • Minimal Ironing: These fabrics resist creasing, meaning you can fold them straight from the dryer and your bed will still look neat and fresh.
  • Fast Drying: Polycotton blends dry significantly faster than pure cotton, which is particularly handy in the colder months when line drying is not an option.
  • Colour Retention: Easy care finishes help dyes hold their vibrancy through many washes, so your bedding stays looking newer for longer.
  • Great for Families: Durable and resilient, these sets handle frequent washing without losing their shape or softness.
