Bring instant warmth and character to your home with our timeless collection of checked and tartan cushions and covers. These classic designs are perfect for creating a cosy, welcoming atmosphere in any room, from traditional country lounges to modern bedrooms.
When choosing checked cushions, consider the scale of the pattern to ensure it complements your existing furniture without overwhelming the space. Look for durable, high-quality fabrics that offer both comfort and longevity for high-traffic areas like sofas and favorite reading chairs. To create a cohesive look, try matching your cushions with coordinating tartan curtains or bedding in similar tones.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between checked and tartan patterns?

Tartan is a specific type of checked pattern consisting of criss-crossed horizontal and vertical bands in multiple colours, often associated with Scottish heritage, while checks are generally simpler two-tone patterns.

Are these cushions available with or without the inner pads?

We offer both full cushions and separate cushion covers, allowing you to easily refresh your current pads or purchase a complete set.

Can I mix different checked patterns in the same room?

Yes, mixing different scales of checks can add depth and interest, provided you keep the colour palette consistent to maintain a harmonious look.

How should I clean my tartan cushion covers?

Most of our covers are machine washable on a gentle cycle, but we recommend checking the specific care label for individual fabric requirements.

What sizes do your checked cushions come in?

Our collection features a variety of standard sizes, including square and rectangular shapes, to suit different sofas, chairs, and beds.

Are these cushions suitable for high-traffic living rooms?

Our cushions are crafted from durable materials designed to withstand everyday use while maintaining their shape and soft texture.

How can I style tartan cushions in a modern home?

Pair them with solid-coloured, textured fabrics like velvet or linen in neutral tones to give these traditional patterns a contemporary and balanced feel.

Do you have matching accessories for this collection?

Yes, you can easily coordinate your look with our matching ranges of checked curtains, bedding, and soft throws.
