Measuring Guide When measuring for curtains you should always measure your track or pole, not the window. It is therefore important to have your track or pole already added.
The track or pole should extend 15cm to 3 cm either side of the window to allow for the curtains to be opened properly without obscuring too much of the window. |

 Curtains to be fitted on a track You must measure the full width of the track as shown in the above diagram. |
 Curtains to be fitted on a pole When measuring a pole for curtains you must measure between the decorative end finials as shown in the above diagram. |

 Measuring for curtain drop There are three basic drops you should aim for...
(1) Sill length curtains with a finish of 1.5cm (1/2") above the sill. (2) Below the sill curtains with a finish of 15cm (6") below (3) Floor length curtains with a finish 1.5cm (1/2") above the floor

Pencil pleat tape Pencil pleat tape curtains can be fitted to both tracks and poles. |
 Track When being fitted to a track the measurement should be taken from the top of the track as shown in the above diagram |
 Pole When being fitted to a curtain pole the measurement should be taken from the bottom of the curtain ring as shown in the above diagram. |
 Tab tops and eyelets Tab top and eyelet curtains can only be fitted on a pole and the measurement is taken from the top of the pole as shown in the above diagram. |
